Life in a Fishbowl

This post is a little random and scattered, I hope you can forgive me! It's been a really long week and it's only halfway over. :P And I'm putting together a fun graphic/button for this post, but it wasn't cooperating yesterday so you'll have to wait until next week to see it.

SHOUT OUT to a favorite blogger of mine! I talk about Bethany Grow on this blog quite a lot, but I can't help it. Her blog, Love the Grows, inspired me to give my blog some direction and to really have fun with my hobby! She has since retired her lifestyle/marriage blog, but she is still blogging over at Love Grows Design. You should check her stuff out, it is fun and inspiring! I used some of her fun designs to decorate my space at work this week, and I love them!

Confession: Whenever I go shopping to find baby gifts for my friends, I am always tempted to buy things and store them in a box for one day when I have babies. The little clothes out there are so fun and cute and tiny! Husband always rushes me through the baby section if he's with me on these excursions, he thinks I'm crazy.

One of my friends posted this trailer on Facebook last week and it was like Christmas all over again! I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am for this movie!!!!!!

Our fish are growing so fast, I get so excited about it, I know that I'm strange! I love to watch them change, especially Hermione whose tail has started turning black. At one point, we thought it was turning orange, but I guess we were wrong about that one.

Fishy now/fishy before

The spring weather that we've been having here in Utah has awakened my motivation to move and be active! I didn't use my workout videos all that much this winter, but I'm already sick of them and anxious to run outside again. Of course, I'm too out of shape to run right now, so I have to start out slow, but it will come! I have a goal to be able to run four miles without stopping by the end of September. Good thing I have a sister who kicks my butt and encourages me to do better each time I run, who is willing to be my workout buddy starting in April! But for now, it's just me, my ipod, my Fitbit and my almost four mile walk every day possible.

Yesterday I managed to stick to my no sugar goal, with the exception of one little chocolate covered strawberry at Zupa's. Go me go!

  1. Dang it! I forgot about that no sugar thing. I totally would have taken that strawberry off your hands last night!

  2. I totally have a baby girl's dress in my closet right now that my Aunt in Law bought for our future unborn child!

    Thanks for linking up!
